Happy Halloween!!

October flew by so fast and I just realized it's already
Thanksgiving!!! Reed is doing good, growing like a weed. He
pulls up now and crawls all over the place.

Happy October!

This weekend was so much fun. Mom flew in for her birthday. We went to the pumpkin patch and Reed had a ball. He thought sticking his head through that hole was so funny. He has started crawling in his own way and can almost sit up from lying down.

Growing up too fast

Here is Reed drinking from his cup. I can't believe that time has flown so fast.
It seems like yesterday I was rocking him in the middle of the night blurry eyed and tired ... just hoping he would go to sleep. Reed sleeps through the night now. He also knows that his crib is where he sleeps. If I put him in it he is usually asleep within 10 minutes. We are so blessed and thankful that God gave us such a wonderful baby.
Those that read this please pray for us as we are getting closer to our big move. Jason will begin a new job as he starts school and works part time. Reed and I will probably commute for a semester. Shouldn't be so bad once we get used to it. We know good things wait for us in Huntsville. I hope everyone is good. Love to you all.

School is here

Wow, how the time flies. School started last week and Reed has started to go to his babysitter's house. Her name is Bonnie and she is wonderful. I haven't worried about him at all. Now as for me... that is a different story. I was not prepared for how sad I was going to be when I left him at her house for the first time. The first week I was so sad. I am much better now and he is doing so good at her house.
Reed is 6 months now and I wanted to show a picture comparision on how big he has gotten. He has 2 bottom teeth and his little attitude has come out. When he doesn't like something he screams bloody murder and kicks his feet real fast. Kind of like a mini temper tantrum. It is really cute. He has been trying to crawl for about two weeks. We just know he will do it any day now. Just yesterday he has started making this tarzan yell when he is upset. It sounds just like Tarzan.
School is going great so far. I love my job and love the kids I teach. I know it will take some time for me to get used to being away from Reed every day. We are really blessed to have found someone like Bonnie.

Goooooo Wildcats!!!!

Here is Reed in his ACU outfit. Pretty cute. Jason and I have some new news.
We have decided to move in December to Huntsville. Jason is going to go back to school to get his degree and hopefully I will be teaching. Jason and I both agree we would like to be in a smaller town, around more family, just somewhere we can put our roots down and grow. I feel really good about the decision. Jason has already been admitted to Sam Houston and will start now on some correspondence courses and actually start going to classes in the Spring. Please pray that I will find a good teaching job there in the Spring. Might be a hard obstacle but thank goodness we have connections. I know God is in charge and will watch out for us but.... the unknown is very overwhelming and scary!!

Look at me!!

I just loved this picture and wanted to share it.
Reed has discovered many new things like when he
cries... somebody will pick him up. He is down to
4 feedings on most days and boy is that different.
Before it was like I was always either making a
bottle, giving a bottle or cleaning a bottle.
Now we have time to play and go outside, take naps,
read books or even clean the house!!
Our realtor is coming on Thursday to let us know
how much we can ask for our house and tell us what
else we need to do to it. The process of selling and
buying a new house has finally arrived. I am so excited.

Rocking with Mimi

This week Mom came with Cathy to visit Susie.
Reed and I went down to Friendswood and got to
see Jon, Denise, Victoria and James, Susie and Bob
and Cathy.

4 months

Reed is 4 months now and weighs 19 lbs. He is rolling over
a lot and smiling all the time. His personality is starting
to really come out. He is very laid back unless he is tired or
hungry. Kind of like his daddy!

Father's Day

Here's a pic from Father's Day today in Huntsville. It was really good seeing everyone there today. It makes me think what if I had never moved down here?
Where would I be? What would I be doing? Crazy where life takes you.
We got home and Reed took a 2 hour nap. He's NEVER slept that long during the day. He must have been pooped.

Here we are!

Well I took Kedra's advice and created a blog for our family.
Life for us has been going so fast since Reed's birth. He is now
3 1/2 months old. He can hold his head up and laugh. He started
sleeping through the night last week and we are sure glad. I never
knew how sleep deprivation can make you so crazy. No one shared
any of that information with me. They also don't tell you how crazy
your emotions will be either, but it is sure worth it. Who knew you
could love something so much. Jason and I feel so blessed to have a
happy and very healthy boy. Reed weighs about 17 lbs. now. Everyone
comments on what a big boy he is.
Jason and I are starting the process of looking for a new home. We really
want to get in a neighborhood that is a little more quiet. We also want to
get in a home that we are going to stay in for a while.
